I sit next to Andrew Collins. I've known him since 6th grade when i was introduced to him during band by one of his friends. Since then i have gotten to know him pretty well. He actually a pretty cool guy and is just as big of a hooligan as me.
Andrew has a dog named Trixie. Its a Boston terrier so its pretty small. Even though its small i personally think this dog is terrifying. Like all Bostons its super hyper so it runs all over the place. It pants a lot and looks at me cross-eyed when i'm holding one of its toys. This makes me think that its about to snap and bite off my head or something like that.
Andrew loves playing saxophone and baritone in the band. Hes one of the best saxophone players in the school right now and is decent at baritone. He loves Jazz! Another thing he does is play ultimate Frisbee. I have personally played against him and can say that hes pretty good.
I would say Andrew is blue because its jazzy. In 5 years i see Andrew as a senior at whatever college he goes to majoring in math or engineering and having a 4.0 GPA. He'll be the star saxophone player in his jazz band. I'd say Andrew is a panther because it's jazzy. JAZZ!

BOO - Ben Grossman
The first thing to do of course is to gather supplies. A lot of stores will probably be broken into already so I can just take things of the shelves. I'll probably have to fight people over the supplies. If i just imagine that its black Friday and i'm fighting someone over a new blender or something like that i should be fine. Next i have to decide if i want to stay by myself or find a group of trustworthy people. There is safety in numbers, unless they betray you and leave you for dead. I would choose to find a group of people so i'm not an easy kill. Then I have to find shelter so I have a safe place to sleep. Sleeping outside is just asking to be attacked so i'm not going to do that. Basically now all I can do is pray that I live through the outbreak.
What is it good for? - Ben Grossman
I don't think war is ever good but i recognize that there are times when its necessary. Death is always unfortunate but sometimes people wont listen to reason or join peace talks and you have to go to war to prevent more people from dying. Take Hitler for example, would he have stopped if no one had done anything? He wasn't going to listen to peace talks or anything like that, he just wanted to persecute and harm huge amounts of people. If he had been left alone he would've just taken over Europe, maybe more and even more people would've been put in danger. Sure there was many casualties but that's how war is, people die. Even if there wasn't a war there still would've been huge amounts of casualties. Sometimes there are no alternatives and you just have to fight even though it might not be called morally right.
Flying Turkeys- Scott Street
Thanksgiving for me and my family is relatively calm and quaint. We choose not to travel to go see family because, frankly, we don't like to deal with all the stress that comes with family gatherings. However, aside from that aspect, our Thanksgivings are fairly traditional. We have all of the foods that you normally think of when you think of Thanksgiving. Probably my favorite Thanksgiving memory happened this year, when we invited one of my friends from my swim team to have Thanksgiving with us. He is from Venezuela and is going to UK, so he had never had an American Thanksgiving. I thought it was pretty cool to enlighten someone from another country on American customs. Also, I felt really good by opening up my house to him for Thanksgiving because otherwise, he wouldn't have had anywhere to go. So that's why that is my favorite Thanksgiving memory.
I never had to choose my subject- my subject rather chose me - Ben Grossman
Fears: being alone
Annoyances: arrogant people, super conservatives
Accomplishments: still alive
Confusions: why can't the two main political parties agree on anything
Sorrows: lazy
Dreams: travel more
Idiosyncrasies: band nerd, gamer
Risks: None really
Beloved possessions: gameboy(then), laptop and gameboy(now), dog
Problems: easily distracted, procrastinator, lazy
I enjoy traveling a lot, but only if its a place i'm interested in. I have been dragged many times by my parents to places that i don't like, for example the metropolitan museum of art in New York. Right now i want to travel more outside the US since I've only been outside it 3 times. Thailand, where i was born, a short visit to Canada, and a 2 week trip to China to get my sister. Right now the places i want to travel to are Thailand, Korea, and Iceland. Thailand because i was about 1 or 2 years old when i left so i don't really remember it at all. Korea because they have good food and they love videogames. Also i think Korean sounds very beautiful. If i didn't suck at learning languages i would start learning it immediately. All i can say is hello and goodbye. The thing i love about Iceland is they have tons of hotsprings.

A world in pictures - Ben Grossman
This picture shows the result of the atomic bomb little boy being dropped on Hiroshima during world war 2. Millions of people died and a huge portion of the city was destroyed.
Just before this picture was taken the residents of Hiroshima were enjoying a normal day. As they went around doing their normal activities, They were unaware that an atomic bomb was speeding towards the city. When the bomb hit most of the people didn't know what hit them. Almost everyone in the blast radius was instantly vaporized. The ones that weren't were thrown back by the shock-wave created by the explosion. As you can tell from the picture the explosion was devastating.
The Japanese didn't know what to do, one of their biggest cities was destroyed in a instant. They couldn't retaliate because they didn't have a weapon of the same destructive power to use. Also the bombing was a huge blow to Japanese moral.
