plastics- Mckenna Elliott

Throughout my 16 years of existence, I have been given so much advice from many different people, but there's on particular piece of advice that has stuck with me. "You can't control how others act and feel, but you can control how you react and how you adjust to situations." Although I am unable to remember who gave it to me and when, it has had a lasting effect on me.

There have been many instances where I have had no idea what to do or how to handle a situation, but then I remember this advice and realize that I am able to anything and everything that I can to change my attitude, outlook, or actions to achieve the outcome I desire. It has helped me through many difficult situations, as well as everyday experiences. It has helped me through rough patches in my life, as well as things as simple as dealing with dumb drivers on the roads.

The lasting impact this advice has had on me is the reason I will always remember it, and why it has stuck out even when I've forgotten ever ounce of advice and direction that I've ever been given.
