Come to the dark side, Luke - Kate Sommer

I feel like that there is such thing as the epitome of evil and the epitome of good. But, I also feel like there is a gray area.

As a definition from my mind, a purely evil person is someone whose only motivation for their actions is that it will hurt someone else. That in someway, all of their actions hurt someone or something intentionally. In the same respect I believe that a purely good person is someone who intentionally helps people. That they think of others and how their actions would make someone else feel before doing it.

I also believe that there are people who fall in that gray area. There are people who are generally nice and try to always think how their actions could affect someone else, but one day they speak without thinking and accidentally hurt someone. In general that person is still a good person despite that one mistake. But also building off that, if the person were not to even attempt to apologize and continually "accidently" hurting people, or even if they did apologize but their actions didn't change, then they fall further into that gray zone closer to the evil side.

In my opinion, good vs. evil all has to do with the motivations behind the person's actions and if they make a mistake how they act after the mistake was made.
