Plastics- Scott Street

When I was very young, I didn't really like to swim because I wasn't very good at it. I told my coach that, and he was very disappointed to hear me. He told me that I should absolutely never give up on anything that I do. Ever. As a young kid of maybe 7 or 8 years old, that didn't mean that much to me back then. However, looking back on it, that moment has been one of major importance in my life. There have been many times in which I have wanted to give up on many various things, ranging from swimming to school or really just anything. Yet I keep on living on and persevering through tough times, and I believe that I am doing just fine, and that I am much more fortunate than many others in the world. If others can struggle way worse than I can, I can definitely make it through whatever the issue may be. That is why those words that my coach uttered to me have stuck with me throughout all these years.
