Fictional Character, Fictional Life- Scott Street

If I had to choose, the person I would most aspire to be would be Robin Williams' character in Good Morning Vietnam, Adrian Cronauer. The reason I would choose to be this character and not, for instance, superman or the Hulk, is because of the amount of influence he held over the troops at the camp. Everybody loved him as the DJ (well, except for Sgt. Dickerson, but he doesn't really count), and everyone loved the comic relief he brought to the tough times. However, he knew he had all of the control about national affairs, and when he realized that Sgt. Dickerson was censoring the news from the soldiers, Cronauer thought this was stupid and reported the news anyway. I would choose Cronauer because of the amount of courage he has and the amount of compassion he has towards the soldiers, especially in their well-being.
