Perfect Playlist- Amelia Rogers

Here is my perfect playlist for when you’re with the people you love the most and everything feels absolutely perfect:

1.     I Want You to Know- Zedd (feat. Selena Gomez). Most of these songs have an unexplainable “it” quality for me, and this one is no exception. When I like a song, I just know. Yes, it’s trendy, yes it’s Selena Gomez, but something about it I just really love. The second verse is why it’s perfect for when you’re with people you love: “I’m better under your reflection.”

2.     Rather Be- Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne). This song has an easy, catchy feel that flows well after the first one. I love the music, but I chose this song for this playlist especially for the words, which describe how being with your favorite people is better than anything else.

3.     I’m Alive (Life Sounds Like)- Michael Franti & Spearhead. This is perfect for the middle of the playlist, because it’s just really fun. I like it because the entire song makes you feel like jumping up and down and laughing. The lyrics are about the people who make life worth it.

4.     Feel Again- OneRepublic. This song transitions the playlist to a slower, softer feel. Again, the lyrics are perfect, describing how a certain person can bring you out of your darkest place.

5.     A Sky Full of Stars- Coldplay. I love this song as the closing for this playlist because it’s slow, but it still has a nice beat. It wraps up everything and leaves you feeling peaceful and so good.
