Create Your Own Adventure - Isabel Jenkins

1. Our senses can help us make connections with ideas not only in the present, but in the past.
Describe a scent that is meaningful to you. What are the thoughts and memories connected to this scent? How would you react if you were to get a whiff right this instant?

2. Investigate your family history as far back as possible. Do you have any crazy cousin or creepy uncle stories? Any unique traditions, customs, rules?

3. What is your favorite color? Undoubtably you have been asked this question before, but consider the reasoning and psychology behind your answer. Consider the objects you encounter of said color, and the feelings received from them.

My favorite color is yellow - in fact, it's the color of the walls I currently sit in front of. Not those ultra-pigmented yellows such as highlighter or mustard or lemon, but a pale, soft tint.  I'm not too sure if it describes me best as a person (I know I can be far from the sunny implication of yellow), but I do like the vast array of feelings one can receive from the different shades. Some yellows can awaken you with the jolting energy of the sun's rays, but some can also soothe you with the warmth of baby chicks and ducklings.

Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration. But I love the pastel yellow that greets me each time I enter my room - perhaps that is an excuse for spending time behind closed doors.
