Do you know your neighbor?-Leah Noble

In English, no one currently sits at the same table as me, but at the table next to me sits Kate Sommer. I met Kate freshman year in the one or two classes we had together (it was so long ago, I can barely even remember my schedule). Last year we didn’t have any classes together and this year English is the only one we have together. Kate was always very kind and nice to me, making conversation and cracking jokes. She is active in the school band and is openly proud to be a part of it. If I had to characterize Kate as a color, I would say she is yellow-orange. She is inviting and bright, but is not afraid to stand up and argue for what she believes in. The animal that I think most fits Kate’s personality is a dog. She is friendly and caring, but will protect the things she cares about most, such as her favorite hobbies/interests and her friends. In five years, I see Kate as a college senior who still has a love for the things of band.
