Do you know your neighbor? - Anthony Tamasi

 At first glance, Emily Chavez (Em Chav) may just be a pretty face. However she is not a superficial, "only skin deep" kind of person. 

 Emily is very active in our community. She went to Haiti this past summer to do mission work with her church, helping the children who are much less privileged than us. Everyone is familiar with our required community service (20 hours) and Emily always seems to go above and beyond that.

 She is also a very honest person. There is no guessing if you want to know how Emily feels about you. If you do not know, then ask her. She will be straight up with you, no games. 

 On top of her good grades, she is also on the swim team here at Henry Clay. I don't know much about her swim career past that, but if she is reading this, she better be participating in track this year.. 

 In 5 years, I see Emily graduating from the University of Florida, her dream school. She will probably be staying in Florida, and I could see her getting a starting job writing at a newspaper.
