A world in pictures- Scott Street

As you all know, the town of Ferguson, Missouri has been infested with chaos ever since the event including a police officer and a young man. There have been riots throughout the town, and many teams of riot enforcers have been deployed in the town.
This is a picture of some of the team that was deployed in Ferguson.
Does this tell us something about our society, that we think that destructive riots and the killing of many more people can help to solve a problem? I believe that the people of Ferguson are respectfully entitled to their opinion, yet when it comes to the endangerment of the lives of many more people, it comes to a point where it becomes counterproductive and unnecessary. In the end, these riots will not accomplish anything in the government. They will not pass any policies. They will not accomplish anything except for destruction. I can understand why the people are mad (I may not necessarily agree), but I feel that there is a much better, less implosive way of expressing their opinions without having to have riot teams deployed in the streets to combat these riots.
