Flying Turkeys-Noah Welch

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.  The holiday falls right after my birthday, there is lots of good food, and school is out.  I also enjoy the cooler weather.  In general for my Thanksgiving, my extended family on my mom’s side travels to our house to visit and celebrate the holiday. Usually, my uncle and grandparents bring their schnauzers, which have more room to romp in my family’s backyard. Typically, my family discusses many various and sundry topics.   Sometimes my sister and I play instruments for my family and other times we play a game of some variety, although some members of my family wouldn’t know what strategy is if it bit them on the nose (little sister I’m looking at you).  When we have a large crowd I enjoy playing Clue. Unfortunately my family also has a bad habit of becoming ill right before the holiday. This year I had the misfortune to catch a cold, which has limited my break but at least I wasn’t sick during a school week.
