Changes- Mckenna Elliott

Racism in our society is becoming mainstream due to our numbness to our words as they slip into casual, daily conversations. Many of us do not consider ourselves racist, despite the fact that most everyone says slightly racist things on a regular basis. Our country has come a long way to get where we are now, although it is seeming as though we are beginning to back track as racism resurfaces in our daily lives.

A simple solution that has the ability to eradicate this problem is forced interracial marriages facilitated by local government officials who could specialize in matchmaking. This would decrease the likelihood of one becoming a racist or even thinking and/or saying racist things. It's simple, yet effective.
