War. A subject that many Americans, including myself, tend to shy away from. Perhaps they are uninformed. Perhaps they want to forget. Perhaps they believe wars in foreign countries do not affect them - a single person, in a single country, in a vast world. Regardless, war is a subject that stands greatly relevant today, and will continue to be relevant for generations to come. I don't consider myself versed enough to have a definitive standpoint, but it is my natural inclination to believe that war is immoral and unnecessary in most cases. It seems that war is so overly glorified; why do we celebrate and rejoice in the aftermath of manslaughter? Some claim that war is inevitable, but I am unsure. How can one determine the inevitability or improbability of an event?
I'd like to think that war is uncalled for in every situation, but I know cannot be as simple as that.
