Why do people think of drug cartels in such a negative connotation? There are many positive things that come directly as a result from these federations. I propose that we should allow drug cartels to be run in the United States. Will violence and deaths spike? It's a possibility. But let's forget about the negatives right now. Let's think of the positives. This brings a whole new economy into play that can help many poor people out of rough situations. And, of course, you can't forget about the pleasure that runs the industry.  Sure, at first thought, bringing drug cartels to the United States sounds like a detrimental idea that could wreak havoc on the country (which is certainly a possibility) however, if you think a little deeper about it, it keeps sounding better and better.
That is my modest proposal.
